(A few years ago, a friend who lives in L.A. had a flat tire. She was crouched down, checking out the tire when someone approached her. She didn't look, but heard HIS voice: "Do you need any help, young lady?" She jumped to her feet, and (according to her) shrieked, "Oh my God! You're Ernest Borgnine!" He nodded, and then helped her change her tire. What a mensch!)
