Orson Welles - Paul Masson Wine Ad Drunken Outtakes
It's such a damn shame but I suppose, in many respects, he did it to himself. It's not even funny, really. Just a glimpse into the twisted demise of one of the greats. He was probably living on Peter Bogdanovich's couch at this point.
I like the audio outtakes when he is doing VoiceOver and he berates the audio engineer for telling him to repeat a line because of a "gonk" noise. Howard Stern plays and says the quote alot. Orson: " What may I ask is a gonk? May I speak to Mrs Rogers? There are too many people giving orders. I TAKE DIRECTION FROM ONE PERSON - AND DO THAT UNDER PROTEST."
