As a kid, I wasn't allowed to watch MAUDE because my parents thought it was too controversial, which only made me want to watch it more. I became a big fan of Bea Arthur and even enjoyed her work in GOLDEN GIRLS. In memory of her more scandalous times, here's a video of Bea and the Rock singing about recreational drug use.

I wanted to post the you-tube video of "Bea Arthur's sister" to raise our spirits.. but it seems the sound is screwed up on it now. When she says Bea's family nickname was "pee" Arthur because of her obsesssion with pee... I nearly peed myself!

She's so awesome. I was a little kid when Maude was on. I really got to know her on Golden Girls. It's such a shame that she has passed away. R.I.P.
i googled the video of bea arthur's sister but couldn't find it. i would love to see it, even if the sound is messed up.
