Damn. She lived near me, and I knew it, but I didn't want to bother her. Now I wish I had, if only to talk about The Big Doll House and Death Race 2000. She didn't even make it to see the remake.

I was sad to hear of her passing. I'm a big fan of hers. So sad that we are losing so many of the stars we grew up with and adore.
What a doll! And I also love Barbara Steele as the bespectacled warden! What happened to J. Demme? ugh!
