You don't remember these? Or maybe they were just "up noth" ... but they were a TV phenonemon. He made himself famous solely through these ads and sold a TON of records. It was even a joke skit w/Chevy Chase on SNL where he changed colors like a mood ring. I think he even sold out Radio City - he was the first one to become famous thru TV ads. Forget Slim Whitman and Boxcar Willie - Peter Lemongello started it all!
I remember '76(graduated high school)but I don't remember this dude!(and with a name like lemon jello!)must a been ,like you sai..a noth'n thang!..sounds good tho..I actually kinda like this tuff now..but back then..I be moider'd for admitting such a thing..
