So much for the "baby" fetish. There was a man dressed as a giant sissy baby on mainstream television in the 1950s and everyone acted as it were the most normal thing in the world. How frightening is Stinky?!
Stinky was played by the amazing Joe Besser, a very under rated replacement for Curly in the Three Stooges. Nick Toshes did an interesting take on the relatonship between Abott & Costello (and Hillary Brooks, Mike The Cop and Stinky) in Kicks mag #3. It was one of the greatest TV shows ever, especially the first season directed by Sydny Fields (who portrayed himself as the psychotic landlord).
