I adore Joe Cook, he is my current Dead Boyfriend.
If ever I am voted Miss New York (yes, I know) and am onstage at the Miss America Pageant, and they ask me ANYTHING, Joe Cook's cornflakes monologue will be my reply.
THat was great...I hadn't thought about him in ages..THey ran a couple of his shorts at a revival house theatre I used to go to in high school in the 70s..they were a big hit with the kiddies

What a sad story - Parkinson's so young.
And, he was a dancer, juggler and acrobat--not a good Parkinson's career.
But he had a good run in vaudeville and on B'way before he took ill.
