Singing For Your Supper

Let's say you're a TV producer and you want to make your awesome TV show even awesomer. The only way to take your awesome TV show to the next level of awesomeness is to have your lead actor(s) sing the theme song. Here is a small tribute to TV shows that have taken their awesomeness to the next level of awsomenimnocity.

Linda Lavin sings "There's a New Girl in Town" from ALICE

Will Smith kicks it Big Willy style on THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR

Lee Majors croons "The Unknown Stuntman" for THE FALL GUY

Erin Moran and Scott Baio belt out "You Look at Me" from JOANIE LOVES CHACHI

Oddly, the only clip of this on YouTube is the punchline of a very bad assisted suicide joke.

And the most awsomest of all....

Chuck Norris "sings" the theme to WALKER, TEXAS RANGER

I was just remarking the other day that Heather Thomas was the only 80's blonde bombshell I ever had a crush on!

Also, I one made Linda Lavin's x-mas cards for her.

I'm still hoping Erin Moran covers "Crazy Train" at some point.
