Dom DeLuise died in his sleep around 6 p.m. on May 4, 2009. He was very funny, and very well-liked. His film FATSO (1980) is a real gem. It stars Dom DeLuise as Dominick DiNapoli, and co-stars the terrific Candy Azzara and Ron Carey. It was written and directed by Ann Bancroft.

i get postcards and pens from candy azzara all the time. she's cuckoo.
i will miss dom. he was a good man, and he has a good family.
I was working on a show once, and we used some clips from the Dean Martin Roast. My coworker had to clear him, and got his #. We thought it was his office, but it was his home, and he answered the phone! He was great.
Fatso is such a lost treasure. I can't tell you how many times I've seen it.
