Jane was at the autograph shows in last few years.
She was quiet and not very talkative- age was catching up to her. She was in the audience of Debbie Reynolds valley concert 2 years ago. She was still keeping her hair jet black. When I told my mom Jane Russell was sitting down below- she leaped up and practically fell over the balcony trying to see Jane. She loved seeing stars in LA. Cute

From various MM bios, Jane did lots for orphan charities.
Her musical number "ain't there anyone here for love" surrounded muscle men is still beyond belief.

One of my earliest childhood memories is of her "cross my heart" Playtex bra commercials...an indelible image!

Jane was at Liza and David Guest's circus wedding. She was reportedly applying lipstick as they said their vows. When the scary duo had their scary newlywed kiss,
Jane plopped her lipstick in her purse, nudged the guest next to her and said: "and that's Show Biz."

(great story and sound like she was a gas)
