Gone With The Pope

Even we couldn't have come up with something as pure genius as this.

GONE WITH THE POPE stars Duke Mitchell as Paul, a paroled gangster with an unholy scheme: to kidnap the pope and charge "a dollar from every Catholic in the world" as the ransom. Shot in 1975 as KISS THE RING, GONE WITH THE POPE was unfinished at the time of Duke Mitchell's death in 1981.

Duke Mitchell's 1974 ultra-violent crime saga MASSACRE MAFIA STYLE will screen on the same program. Also known as LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON and THE EXECUTIONER, MASSACRE MAFIA STYLE is a homemade answer to THE GODFATHER promising “more guts, more action, more dynamite!”. Starting with Duke and his sidekick slaughtering an entire building full of enemies, the movie is nonstop, mind-blowing entertainment that has become a favorite among cult movie fans.

His Holiness would find being held hostage with his feetsies tied to be a kick.

they could make more charging ex-catholics a $1 each to see Pope held with a ball gag and a butt plug.

Of course, this is the great Duke Mitchell, from "Bela Lugosi meet The Brookliyn Gorilla", where he and Sammy Petrillo did their best Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

Duke spent the rest of his life trying to get away from Sammy Petrillo! I know his son, Jeffrey, who has three songs in the movie. Jeffrey's played with Suzi Quatro, among others.

Can I tell you that it was even BETTER than I had hoped?! The place was packed! Oh, try and see this if you can. You will not be disappointed.
