Marty to tell Ol' Blue Eyes story

Read all about it here.

"It's not a cradle-to-the-grave traditional portrait of the consecutive events in a man's life," Shulman said. "Instead it's more of a collage and, in many ways, it will feel like an album itself. It's a collection of various moments and impressions in his life and together we hope they'll tell the full story and present full themes."

Wonder who he'll cast as Ava?

Big and Little Nancy? Dean? Sammy? He needs to talk to Tura Satana! I hope she gets her book out soon, because she has some great Frank dish ... but I won't spill the beans.

Also, what Stones album will be used in it's entirety for the soundtrack?

Gina Gershon springs to mind, but she may be too old...Kate Beckinsale played her in "The Aviator". Ugh. Now that I think of it, there are no younger actors/actresses that could pull off these larger-than-life icons! Good luck, Marty!!

Francie, well it all depends on what you watch!

Lex, no kidding. Although I'm tempted to do a whole casting-post with the various mugs in GoodFellas, if I were so inspired.

Mavis and I have made TWO visits to the Ava Gardner Museum in Smithfield, NC, so we know our Ava.

Is anything pre-MTV considered "old time"? Well, pass the Geritol, honey, and make it a double!

Wow! So awesome. I had heard this news. Not sure who I would want to play all these stars.

The dreary truth is it'll be uninspired either way. Leo & Scarlett, blah blah blah...... god forbid somebody new gets a job.
